PAYMENT
A retainer, due upon booking, is required to confirm your session and reserve your date. This amount goes towards your final balance, and is nonrefundable. The balance of your session is due on or before the day of your session and can be paid via cash, Venmo, PayPal or check.
Upon paying your retainer, you will be sent an AGREEMENT, this is standard and must be signed prior to your session.
HOW LONG WILL MY SESSION TAKE?
Your session can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 4+ hours, all depending upon which package you choose! This will be discussed before your session so that you can plan accordingly.
Please note that if your session does not come with hair and makeup application, it is your duty to prepare with enough time ahead of your session to do this yourself.
If you are late, the time remaining will be what you have allotted for your session and will not result in a discounted rate.
WHEN WILL I GET MY PHOTOS?
Your high-resolution, fully edited images are delivered electronically through a private gallery for download and sharing. Prints and other products are available through your gallery. Turn around may vary based on session type and busy season, with a standard being two weeks. If there will be a delay, this will be discussed prior to your session. I do not send out preview galleries, I simply put all of my time into your final images, so please be patient! Rush deliveries are available for an additional fee.
*I will not provide RAW or unedited images. All final images are chosen by me with my artistic discretion. If this does not fit your needs, I apologize ahead of time, but maybe I am not the artist for you!
WHO OWNS THE COPYRIGHT?
I, Photography by Shannon Rae, retain full copyright ownership of all images taken and edited by me. I am within full rights to use them to promote my business in any form I choose, including but not limited to prints, social media, merch, promotional material or on my website. I promise to NEVER misuse or abuse your image in any way that is harmful or inappropriate. This will be addressed in our AGREEMENT mentioned above.
For personal sessions, I encourage you to use your images however you'd like! I simply ask that you tag or credit me in some form or another when you share the images publicly. If images are entered into a contest of any sort, additional consent must be granted by me and a fee may be applied.
If images are used commercially, I, through a written and signed agreement, may authorize your usage of the images. I am within my rights to limit your usage, and to charge accordingly to extend your usage. It is your responsibility to confirm the boundaries of your usage agreement prior to using the images. Usage outside of agreed upon terms may result in legal action.
CANCELATION
If scheduling changes occur, your retainer is valid for 6 month, but is nonrefundable.
I try to remain flexible, knowing life happens, and will attempt to reschedule you ASAP.
If a second rescheduling occurs, a new retainer will need to be paid and the session will be due in full upon rescheduling.
In the event of weather conditions that are out of our control- If the client has been contacted and advised to reschedule due to the photographer’s concerns about weather, and the client still proceeds with the session and it rains, limiting the time and or photos that were able to be taken, the client will be charged for an additional session at the photographer’s hourly rate to reschedule or shoot additional photos. Due to photography equipment, it is up to the photographer’s discretion if bad weather persists to cancel the session, during the session. If the client has been contacted and advised to reschedule due to the photographer’s concerns about weather, and the client decides to go ahead and reschedule, the client will not be charged to do so.
